Today I'm featuring the creative works of Quirky 'n' Berkeley. Carol creates each delightful item by hand.
Carol says she gets "completely absorbed in engineering my varied creations for hours. Each one is a new and unique production, made of treasures from my collection of paper and ephemera, transfigured into a single piece held together by a little glue, a lot of ideas, practice and work, and most of all, a great amount of joy." Her passion for her craft is evident in each one of her designs.
I just love these teeny tiny envelopes that are lovingly made out of Christmas colored, double-sided cardstock, and measure 1.25x1.25 inches each. Each comes fitted with an accordion-folded piece of white cardstock for you to write your own message -- perfect for a promotion or thank you or gift enclosure. They are also perfect for tiny notes left in secret places or for scrapbook journaling.
A cute little black cat lounges in the corner of this card against a vellum background of cat related words and phrases adhered by little square pewter brads. Inside is blank so you can inscribe a personal message.
Five cute little boxes, measuring approximately 1.25x1.25x3/4 inches and made of beautiful, luxurious, textured yuzen chiyogami paper. They're the perfect size for rings or earrings. Carol has glued the inside tabs to make them sturdier, although the paper is a nice, full-bodied weight. Lids are printed, boxes are coordinating solid colors.
Beautiful Poinsettia card for someone special on your list
The poinsettia that is the centerpiece of this card is made from three hand-stamped and embossed layers of paper. It is mounted on gold ribbon on an ivory background. The card is white and measures 6.5x5 inches. Inside is blank for your personal message.
